Apple & Blackberry Crumble
Ingredients
5 Medium Granny Smith Apples or 5 Medium Other Firm Apples
2 cups Blackberries (fresh or frozen)
½ cup Packed Brown Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
¾ cup Lewis Road Creamery Premium Unsalted Butter
1 pack Blue Frog Christmas Granola

Preheat oven to 200C bake.

Unpack the Lewis Road Creamery Butter, cube and let soften.

Core, peel and slice apples.

In a large bowl, stir together apples, brown sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon.

Pop in a casserole dish and dot with 1/3 of the butter.

Crush granola while it is still in the pack with a rolling pin to break it up.

Place granola in a bowl and add the rest of the butter.

Using a fork, push the butter into the crushed granola, working it through. Or can use your hands to work it through if easier!

Sprinkle the mixture over the apples and pat down.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.

Remove foil and bake about 10 minutes longer or until the topping has browned.

Let stand for approximately 10 minutes then serve.
Notes
You can serve with a good dollop of Lewis Road Creamery Three Vanillas Ice Cream. Or serve it with just Lewis Road Creamery Organic Single Cream. Both are just as good as each other!
